I am Jack Copeland. I’m 19 and I am from Auckley in Doncaster.
I am a friendly, approachable and can work effectively in a team. I am thirst for learning and like to learn new knowledge and skills so I can get the job completed to a high standard.
I can work well on my own and without supervision. I can concentrate and focus on the task at hand. I like to reflect and will always think before I act and speak. This ensures I take a considered and thorough to work and when interacting with others.
I have a level 3 Diploma in IT and the units I covered include: Communication and Employability Skills for IT, Computer Systems, Website Production, Digital Graphics, Computer Animation, Spreadsheet Modelling, Information Systems, Computer Networks, Procedural Programming, IT Technical Support, Networked Systems Security and Web Animation for Interactive Media.
I also have a BCS level 2 in IT User Skills, GCSE grade C in English, Maths, French and Physics; a Merit in GCSE ICT.
I am also a qualified Lifeguard. I currently a casual lifeguard for DCLT (Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust) at the pool at The Dome. I am a swim teaching assistant which involves me giving demonstrations, utilising the correct equipment for each lesson, assisting the weaker swimmers across the pool and giving the students guidance on how to improve their swimming.
I have recently completed the Ambition Doncaster program which covered Teamwork and teambuilding skills, Interview skills and the different ways of answering questions within an interview, Learning about what sort of person I am and discovering what traits I have.
My hobbies include gaming as it immerses me into the different worlds and environments but also the different people and characters you meet whilst playing and it is a good way to pass the time with your friends and family. I also have a love for film and TV.
I would like to pursue a career in IT. I am open to opportunities where I can develop my IT Skills, be part of a successful team and develop in my role.licke
